A "vine" was created from all kinds of mirrors intended to be used to cover the trunk of Tree II in front of the American Visionary Art Museum. The "vine" had a flexible thin metal base that was covered with the mirrors. However, it turned out to be too large for Tree II, so instead Benson attached it to a wall inside his home. Now it is a "tree" rather than a "vine" - and it has various fruits and objects hanging from it. It is about 8 ft. high. A new "vine" was made for the trunk of Tree III at AVAM. The picture on the right below is an overview, the second shows some of the detail.
